Advisory on Phishing Scams Impersonating NTUC FairPrice

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) observes a recent trend of phishing scams impersonating NTUC FairPrice. These scams typically involve fake websites designed to trick you into revealing your personal or banking information.

Here’s how to recognise such scams:

  • Be cautious of unsolicited messages containing links with suspicious or unfamiliar domain names (e.g., ending with ".buzz") that claim to be from NTUC FairPrice. Always check the full URL before clicking.
  • Authentic NTUC FairPrice websites will always use their official domain, typically fairprice.com.sg or a related official subdomain.

If you have clicked on a suspicious link or provided your personal or banking details:

  • Immediately change your passwords for online accounts, especially if you use similar credentials across different services.
  • Notify your bank if you have provided any banking information or noticed unauthorised transactions.
  • Report the scam to the police at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness or call 999.

Remember, NTUC FairPrice will never ask for your banking details or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) through unsolicited messages or unofficial websites.
