Advisory: Beware of Phishing Scams Impersonating Ninjavan

zqpro.cfd

The Singapore Police Force has observed a trend of phishing scams impersonating delivery services like Ninjavan. These scams often use fake websites to trick members of the public into revealing personal information, potentially leading to financial loss or compromise of personal data.

Here’s how to recognise these scams:

  • Unusual Website Addresses: Always check the website address carefully. Official Ninjavan websites will use their legitimate domain (e.g., ninjavan.sg), not unusual or misspelled ones like zqpro.cfd.
  • Unexpected Requests: Be wary of unexpected messages (SMS, email) claiming to be from delivery companies, especially if they ask for personal details, payment, or to click on a link to track a package or reschedule delivery.

If you have clicked on a suspicious link or provided your details:

  • Do not proceed further. Close the suspicious website immediately.
  • If you shared bank details or made payments: Contact your bank immediately to freeze your accounts or cards.
  • If you shared login credentials: Change your passwords for all affected accounts, especially if you use the same password for multiple services.
  • Report the incident to the Police.

Remember: Add security features. Check for scam signs and verify with official sources. Tell authorities, family and friends about scams.
