The Singapore Police Force has observed a trend of phishing scams impersonating the investment platform MooMoo. Scammers are creating fake websites to trick individuals into revealing their login credentials and personal information.

How to recognise this scam:

  • Look out for suspicious web links that appear random or use unusual domain names (e.g., ending with ".live"), even if they feature the MooMoo brand logo or colours.
  • These fake websites are designed to look like the official MooMoo platform and will prompt you to enter your login details or other sensitive personal information.

What to do if you are affected:

  • If you have entered your login credentials or other personal information on a suspected scam site, immediately change your password for your official MooMoo account and any other accounts using the same password.
  • If you have made any financial transactions through a scam site or suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact MooMoo's official customer support and your bank immediately to report the incident.
  • Report the scam website to the Police.
