Advisory: Beware of Phishing Scams Impersonating Land Transport Authority (LTA)

dhlhelp.shop
itagvo.cfd

The Singapore Police Force has observed a rising trend of phishing scams impersonating the Land Transport Authority (LTA). These scams aim to trick members of the public into revealing their personal information or making payments on fake websites.

Here's how to recognise such scams:

  • Look out for unofficial website addresses that do not belong to LTA (e.g., dhlhelp.shop, itagvo.cfd). Always verify that you are on the official LTA website.
  • Be wary of requests for personal details or payments for LTA services or fines through unusual channels or websites.

If you encounter such a scam or believe you have been affected:

  • If you have provided your personal details on a suspicious website, monitor your accounts for any unauthorised activity. Consider changing relevant passwords immediately.
  • If you have made any payments on a fake website, contact your bank immediately to report the unauthorised transaction.
  • Report the incident to the Police.
