Advisory: Beware of Phishing Scams Impersonating DBS Bank

ice-coffee-star.unicornplatform.page

The Singapore Police Force observes a trend of banking-related phishing scams, with scammers creating fake websites that impersonate DBS Bank. These scam sites aim to trick you into revealing your confidential banking details.

Here's how to recognise such scams:

  • Unusual Website Addresses: Always check the website address (URL). Scammers often use web addresses that look slightly off or contain unfamiliar words, unlike the official DBS website.
  • Requests for Confidential Information: Be wary of any website or message asking you to provide your internet banking User ID, PIN, or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) through a link. DBS Bank will never ask for these details via unofficial links or pop-ups.

If you suspect you have fallen victim to such a scam:

  • Immediately contact DBS Bank using the official number to report the incident and secure your accounts.
  • Report the matter to the police.

By staying vigilant and knowing what to look out for, you can ACT against scams. Remember to "Check" for scam signs and "Tell" authorities and your loved ones about these tactics.
