Advisory: Beware of Miniex Investment Scams

miniexi.com

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has observed a trend of investment scams involving the brand "Miniex" and suspicious websites such as miniexi.com. These scammers typically target individuals with promises of attractive, high-yield investment returns.

How to recognise this scam:

  • Be cautious of unsolicited messages, calls, or online advertisements promoting investment opportunities, especially those promising guaranteed high returns in a short period.
  • Scammers often direct victims to fraudulent websites like miniexi.com or apps, claiming to be official "Miniex" investment platforms, to trick them into transferring money or providing personal details.

What to do if you encounter this scam or have been affected:

  • Stop: Immediately cease all communication with the alleged investment "agents" or platforms.
  • Do not transfer: Do not make any further payments or provide any more personal information.
  • Report: Lodge a police report as soon as possible.
  • Notify: Inform your bank or financial institution immediately if you have transferred money, to see if transactions can be halted or reversed.
