Advisory: Beware of Investment Scams Using Suspicious Websites

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has observed a recent trend of investment scams leveraging suspicious websites, with notable examples linked to brands such as Skild AI, SEI, and JUST. These scams aim to trick individuals into investing in fake opportunities, leading to financial losses.

How to recognise these scams:

  • Scammers promote investment opportunities promising high returns with little to no risk, often through unsolicited messages, social media ads, or word-of-mouth from unknown individuals.
  • They direct victims to fake investment websites with unfamiliar or slightly altered web addresses (e.g., skdai001.xyz, seeee.cc, usttt.net) that are designed to appear legitimate.

What to do if you are affected:

If you suspect you have fallen victim to such a scam or have provided your details on a suspicious website, here’s what you should do immediately:

  1. Stop all communication with the scammer and block their numbers or accounts.
  2. If you have transferred money, contact your bank immediately to report the fraudulent transaction.
  3. Report the incident to the Police via the SPF hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit an online report at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.
