Advisory: Beware of Investment Scams Impersonating CNA

datahunge.top
easyspark.company

The Singapore Police Force has observed a trend of investment scams impersonating CNA. Scammers are creating fake websites that mimic CNA's branding to promote fraudulent investment schemes, as seen with URLs like datahunge.top and easyspark.company.

Here's how to recognise such scams:

  • Check the website address carefully: Scammers use slight variations or unusual domain extensions (like .top or .company) that do not belong to official CNA websites. Always verify the authenticity of investment platforms.
  • Be wary of promises of high returns: Investment scams often lure victims with attractive, too-good-to-be-true returns in a short period with little to no risk.

If you suspect you have fallen victim to such a scam:

  • Tell authorities and your bank immediately: Report the incident to the Police and contact your bank to halt any transactions or freeze compromised accounts.
  • Secure your digital accounts: Change passwords for any online accounts that may have been affected or compromised.
