We have observed a recent increase in investment scams involving the websites Violafi (violafi.com) and lieshou.vip. These websites may present opportunities for high-return investments that are ultimately fraudulent.

How to recognise these scams:

• Promises of unrealistically high or guaranteed returns with little to no risk.
• Pressure to invest quickly or miss out on a limited-time opportunity.

If you have been affected:

1. Stop all communications and transactions with the suspected scammers.
2. Report the scam to the Singapore Police Force immediately. You can do this online via the SPF website or in person at any police station.
3. If you have shared any personal or financial information, such as bank account details or credit card numbers, with the scammers, contact your bank immediately to take steps to protect your accounts.
