The Singapore Police Force has observed a trend of impersonation scams targeting CDC Vouchers. Scammers send unsolicited messages or create fake websites to trick the public into providing personal and banking details under the guise of CDC Voucher redemption. We have received 71 reports related to such scam sites.

Here’s how to recognise such scams:

  • Scammers send unsolicited SMS, emails, or messages via social media that include suspicious links related to CDC Vouchers.
  • These links lead to fake websites designed to phish for your personal information, banking details, or One-Time Passwords (OTPs). Official CDC Voucher redemption does not require you to provide such sensitive information through third-party links.

If you suspect you have encountered this scam or fallen victim:

  • A - Add security features: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your online accounts and use strong, unique passwords. If you have provided login details on a scam site, change your passwords immediately.
  • C - Check for scam signs: Always verify the authenticity of any message or website regarding CDC Vouchers through official government channels or the official CDC Vouchers website. Do not click on suspicious links.
  • T - Tell authorities, family and friends: If you have disclosed banking details or suspect your bank account has been compromised, contact your bank immediately to block your accounts. Report the scam to the police. Share this information with your loved ones to protect them from falling victim.
