Advisory: Be Wary of Fake Investment Schemes Promoting 'GoMining'

go-mining66.top

The Singapore Police Force has observed a trend of scam websites impersonating legitimate investment platforms or promoting fake cryptocurrency mining opportunities, often using brand names like 'GoMining'. These sites aim to trick individuals into investing in non-existent schemes.

How to recognise this scam:

  • Scammers promote fake 'GoMining' or similar investment schemes, promising exceptionally high returns in a short period with little to no risk.
  • These schemes often use suspicious website addresses (e.g., go-mining66.top) and rely on unsolicited messages or social media ads to lure victims.

What to do if you are affected:

If you have provided your personal or financial details, or made any transactions related to such schemes, you should:

  1. Report it to the police immediately by calling 999 or visiting your nearest Neighbourhood Police Centre.
  2. Contact your bank to cancel any recurring transactions, freeze your accounts, or dispute unauthorised transactions.
